Principles for Personal Leadership Development in the Distributed Crypto and Token Economy
“The philosopher J.L. Austin certainly did not believe philosophy and good sense to be the opposites of frivolity and nonsense, instead going so far as to suggest that the former have special access to the latter: ‘Even philosphers set some limits to the amount of nonsense that we are prepared to admit we talk. And as demonstrated by Austin’s own work, humor itself can be a philosophical method, a heuristic for fresh insights and perspectives.” (Women and Comedy: History, Theory, Practice by Dickinson et al.)
Although I am not a coder, the release of this program is inspired by Donald Knuth (b. 1938), American computing pioneer, is known for his greatly influential multi-volume work, 'The Art of Computer Programming', his novel 'Surreal Numbers', his invention of TeX and METAFONT electronic publishing tools and his quirky sense of humour. Watch this five minute clip where he shares his advice to young people.
In this short clip, we can hear many ideas that sound a bit like this:
About your conditioning...
When and where you are born determines your "wyrd". We cannot determine the conditions we were born into. But we can determine how we respond to those conditions.
Avoid absolutist thinking
Human disturbance is largely (though not entirely) associated with and springs from absolutistic thinking – from dogmatism and inflexibility, and devout shoulds, oughts and musts – and that extreme religiosity or true believererism, is essentialy emotional disturbance.” (Albert Ellis, 1980)
"Follow your own instincts... not the herd." Donal E.Knuth (Computer Science Professor at Stanford University)
Intentionless Intent
Will formulates Desire which promulgates Belief
“New paradigms often originate in the minds of those individuals who are disillusioned, disenchanted, or victimized by their current culture, government, family structure, and societal framework. These individuals will lead an exodus to a place where the people begin to manifest innovations that transform our world–our land, waterways, and sky –to its ultimate and timely restoration.”–AB Crane 2016
Diverse Approaches
““Headology bears some similarities to psychology in that it requires the user to hold a deep seated understanding of the workings of the human mind in order to be used successfully. However, headology tends to differ from psychology in that it usually involves approaching a problem from an entirely different angle.
It has been said that the difference between headology and psychiatry is that, were you to approach either with a belief that you were being chased by a monster, a psychiatrist will convince you that there are no monsters coming after you, whereas a headologist will hand you a bat and a chair to stand on.” Terry Pratchet

Dresher and the Toaster
A disciple of another sect once came to Drescher as he was eating his morning meal.
“I would like to give you this personality test”, said the outsider, “
because I want you to be happy.”
Drescher took the paper that was offered him and put it into the toaster, saying: “
I wish the toaster to be happy, too.
If you watch the finger pointing to the moon… you can’t see the moon..
Finding Knowledge and Wisdom through Multi-States of Mind
We move in and out of different state of being - from joy to love, from clarity to confusion, from autopilot to daydreaming, stages between sleeping and waking. Each of these states enable us to gain knowledge and wisdom through direct experience, or as I say "Gaia Dharma" (natural mind).
The fundamental tenet is that reality, including the individual, is already complete and perfect, that nothing needs to be transformed or renounced but only recognized for what it truly is. The essential dzogchen practice is "self-liberation"; allowing all that arises in experience to exist just as it is, without elaboration by the conceptual mind, without grasping or aversion.
Above all else: Do no harm!
